**Thorsthal Kellam
**

The surprising, but beloved son of a Sea Wolf Roegadyn and a Midlander Hyur, Thorsthal has had the unique and unenviable experience of being over six fulms tall and told he is short. He often tells them to blame his father for that, because he inherited his mother's complexion and more bulky size.

The Kellam family enjoyed a rather stable life in Ul'dah with their various contacts throughout Eorzea, including one that would grant them access to rare Gelmorran goods. Once, they took their son to the Twelveswood to attend a party. A young Thorsthal was instantly taken in by Ellant Argentas, who was preforming on his flute and telling stories of high adventure. It was then that Thorsthal knew he wanted to take on the adventurer's life.Only after the Calamity and the Echo granting him visions of fighting did Kellams agree to let their son take up the blade rather than the scales. But it was on the condition that he first work for the Immortal Flames in safer areas. They wouldn't have their son throw his life away in risky endeavors. Excited at the prospect of at least being able to defend others in combat, Thorsthal agreed and finally started learning the art of defense.Thorsthal, while grateful for the experience that the Flames had granted him, was growing bored of routine patrols. He needed variety in his life. So when a young Miqo'te conjurer came to him for help, he leapt at the chance to help her. After defeating the bandits with A'quexta's skill in conjury, Thorsthal asked her if she would be his traveling companion, figuring that having a healer with him would ease his parent's worry of him dying. After a few adventures with Khaliun and Rowan, he invites them to join their party. This is later reciprocated by Rowan inviting the rest of them to join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, which granted him novelty in challenges.Thorsthal has a good head for strategy and reading people. Despite having wanted to be an adventurer, he will always try to find a nonviolent way to end a conflict, his parent's worries always in the back of his mind.

A'quexta Rhini

Though she was born to the G Tribe, she was adopted by the Nuhn of the A Tribe when she arrived in Antelope territory as a refugee with her mother. From a young age, it was clear that A'quexta had a gift with the Elements so her mother once again traveled with her daughter for a better life.

Under the tutelage of Brother E-Sumi-Yan, A'quexta learned the art of Conjury, assuming the visions she saw were under the umbrella of that art. After being told she did not qualify to be a Hearer, despite her obvious talents, A'quexta started questioning the morals and tenants of the Gridanian leadership. This skepticism towards the Hearers lead her to contact the other peoples of the Twelveswood, including Alfinne Argentas.Despite becoming known to Rowan through her mother, the two didn't start adventuring with each other until after A'quexta left the Twelveswood and met with Thorsthal. Quex was on a journey of self reflection in Thanalan when she was beset by bandits. After running from them she was able to find help from one of the Immortal Flames on patrol. The pair of them handled the bandits and found a mutual attraction to the other. With the realization that she could use her talents to benefit others without having to follow Gridanian ideologies, A'quexta quickly took to the adventurer's lifestyle with Thorsthal. During one of their adventures, they met with Khaliun and offered her a place in their party. Khaliun then told them about Rowan, and they later agree to join the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.A'quexta is a kindly soul who often fits the healer archetype, though she does have quite the temper to her if one runs headlong into danger. Due to Khaliun's tendency to focus on her strikes and not her position, she has mastered the art of Aetherial Manipulation.

Khaliun Kakhol

After becoming an orphan from her original tribe for the strange visions she had (later revealed to be the Echo), Khaliun was taken in by the Kakhol tribe. There it was found that she was talented with the blade, any blade really, and was trained by various uncles and aunts.
Once it became clear that she wasn't like the other girls due to her large stature, she decided to take her leave of the Steppe. Fewer people would question her claims as a woman if they didn't already have preconceived notions of what a Xaela woman should be shaped like. And she found that she could easily lie and say one of the tribes had larger women and smaller men.

With the training from her adopted tribe, she easily took abilities from both ninjustu and bushido when she found masters in the East willing to teach her. Then, on a lark, she decided to travel to Eorzea's shores. While facing prejudice for her looks, she was still able to find work due to her martial prowess. She met Rowan a few months after the Calamity. There was a creature with a large bounty on its head in the Black Shroud that many adventurers failed to take down. With Rowan covering Khaliun's strikes with her arrows, they were able to fell the beast and take the reward. They both commented that the other was the best partner they had while adventuring and decided to continue to work with the other. After Rowan joined the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, she invited Khaliun along with her other allies to join her there. With the Echo protecting her from the influence of the Primals, Khaliun has faced plenty of threats with the Warrior of Light. The strong, silent type, Khaliun isn't one to talk much, actually beating Rowan's penchant for being quiet. That said, she'll never miss the opportunity to drop a joke or a quick jab at someone.Fun fact: Rowan was surprised that the majority of Auri women were petite when she goes to the East. She was sure it was just a Raen thing after meeting Yugiri.
